This is a very detailed, thorough study and examination of what many people may not invest a great deal of time into considering - friendships and quality relationships. Many are in relationships of different sorts (familial, friends, spouses, and spiritual), but many may not realize that relationships are reciprocal and requires a great deal of effort; we need to give as well as receive from others. This is about making a serious commitment, following through, and actively engaging in the process of true, sincere friendship. I found the explanations thought-provoking, and the examples were greatly helpful as far as putting situations in perspective. I was truly impressed with Monsignor Halfacre's insights into the various sorts of relationships and the dynamics involved.
I haven't read it yet, but it looks good.
I would compare this book to 'How to Win friends and Influence People.' I've given the book to several of my friends and highly recommend it!
